It's been a year(ish)

About a year ago, as a form of therapy really, that I launched my Facebook page as a complement to my website. I've long been a photographer but I'd never really pushed it at people so I decided to be a bit more "in people's faces" with it. As they say in the movies... it's been emotional! I really have to thank the band of faithful followers and friends who have encouraged me to push my work out there. Without that encouragement I wouldn't be writing this today. The three "Dolly" pictures are lovely... I'm intending to turn them into a triptych, they tell such a great little story!

Summer?

It's hard to believe that it's July already I know that despite rose tinted glasses; the English summers of my youth weren't all hot sunny days, riding my bike on never ending journeys of discovery with my mates. I know that they were quite often wet and insipid; but come on weather! Give us all a break, if its not raining its not been exactly cracking the flags either. Fingers crossed for a better July eh?Back in May I took a day trip to Bury St Edmunds, I had arranged with a friend that I would go and take some pictures of his children and hopefully we'd both end up with something great.…
